I am very excited for the recording session of a new album dedicated to Cuban music and Cuban piano composers. For the first time I recorded on a piano/ drums duo formation along with the Cuban pianist Yamile Cruz Montero. Works by Ernán López-Nussa, Aldo López-Gavilán, José Maria Vitier and Andrés Alén are the protagonists of this musical trip.
The recording session was held in Bayreuth, in Steigraeber & Sons Piano Factory with the sound engineer Manfred Hübel of Audiotransit Sound Productions.
The album is going to be released by Naxos World Music Label after the upcoming summer. More infos to come!
